TSB 07-037 (Shfiter Hard to Move) - Making sure I order right parts

2005 Civic Hybrid CVT, non-California car. Having issues shifting. I found this TSB:
http://ww2.justanswer.com/uploads/hy...ic_shifter.pdf

I really just want to make sure I am ordering the right parts, and if there is a preferred place to order them from. The screenshot below shows that it can't "verify" that this fits my car. If I go to the Illustrated Parts Breakdown, it tries to give me the old/failed part number. I want to make sure I am getting the NEW control lever etc.

Thank you for any help!

If the shift cable is not already bent or damaged, I would just take apart the cable from the lever (on the trans) and clean the corrosion out of the pivot points and reassemble with some grease or anti-seize.
This diy repair is just about FREE and might last longer than the car

Unfortunately it does look like the cable is bent. It's good to know that if it wasn't, it could be fixed without having to spend the money on the new parts though (or if I previously knew about the issue, to prevent it).

Since it's bent, I should replace it then?

That's up to you. Can you straighten the original enough to move full travel without the shift lever binding?

Good question. I'll see if I can do that first. Thank you.

Can't get it to come apart, or, don't have the patience. Guess I'll just have to buy one.

Do the part numbers look right?

Ok thanks. Was just nervous they weren't positively listed as fitting.
