Just wondering if anyone knows where I can buy this specific bushing for my 2002 Honda Civic? Mine disintegrated and shifting is fairly sloppy now on it with a lot of play.

I've gone to the dealer and asked about it and they only sell that circled part with the whole cable assembly, which I cannot justify spending just for the bushing piece. I was browsing ebay and saw this

but the ad does not specify for which that bushing will work, the ones under the engine or the one in the center console area. i actually did make my own bushing, though fairly crappy and it basically broke within a month.

Just wondering if anyone has replaced this bushing or have any suggestions for making one that wont fall apart

I'd try Home Depot or Lowe's. They have an assortment of bushings in the hardware section. I've had the cable break, never the bushing. Try a metal bushing, it'll never wear out, and should improve shifter feel. You'll have more vibrations, as the only negative.

From looking at dealership drawings, doesn't look like you can buy just that bushing
