Boosted I think you're right, I used to be ASE certified mechanic many years ago in Brakes, A/C, Front Ends, and Electrical. That makes the most sence, because a fused link is rated for only amperage not voltage. You could pass as much as 20 volts though a circuit without as much as 10amps resistance. Good Call!!!

Family Man let us know how it turns out I'm very curious.

Right now the strategy is to return to stock pulleys and go to another dealer. Seems a little dishonest to me, but my dealer says no on warantee. I disagree, but it would cost me more to fight it than to go somewhere else. I don't have the money right now to stand on principle. That will be the last of my business they ever see, including my new Honda van at summer's end. When someone can find out what happened to my ECM I will let you guys know.

I think I have figured out what has caused my problem with the ECM. I will let you all in on it AFTER the warantee work is done, hopefully in the next couple of days. I appreciate everyones input and helpfullness. Sometimes (most of the time) this board really kicks tocks.

Well, I got my car back today and it is running fine. After putting the stock pulleys back on and taking it to a different dealer, it was fixed under warranty. They replaced the ECM and replaced the battery (I had to pay half for the battery as it has a 24K warranty). Total cost to me $34. God is good! I think I know what caused the problem. There is a burn mark on the top of my alternator where someone contacted a live positive feed to it. Most likely the original dealer. This probably caused the short/surge that everyone was thinking happened. So everything is back to good now.

You should put the pullies back on. Since you know now that they was not the cause of the problem. IMO your original dealer probably messed and did not want to take responsibility for it, that is why they were giving you the run-a-round. Glad to hear that everthing is back to norm again.
