What freak was trying to say is you hit your 10K mile checkup point, which is an oil change, if you do it regularily then you need not worry, if you call your dealer, or any honda dealer for that part, they will let you know how to turn it off, really easy, you dont have to worry until you hit like 30K miles....

OK...I'll help you out like I do everyone else:

HOLD IN THE 'TRIP' BUTTON
TURN THE KEY TO THE #2 POSITION
WAIT UNTIL THE DASH LIGHTS GO OFF
TURN KEY BACK TO #0 POSITION
RELEASE 'TRIP' BUTTON
*ODOMETER MILEAGE NEEDS TO BE SHOWING WHEN YOU DO THIS*
NOW START THE ENGINE...NO MORE LIGHT
