2002 Civic - Heater Control Cable 79544-s5d-aoo

I need a 2002 Civic Heater valve cable and have tried everywhere. The item has been discontinued and I can't find it anywhere - wreckers, after market, ebay, etc.
Any suggestions as it's getting very cold up here in the Great White North!!

Keep checking wrecking yards, there's usually a few of these cars in every yard i visit.
or manually move it over to full heat and leave it there for the winter.
