2002 Civic EX Coupe, Automatic.

I just bought the car in January for $500 & I'm slowly making this thing more reliable.

I've got 2 Genuine Honda Key Fobs that came with the car. I've located the Keyless Entry Module, roughly behind the cigarette lighter. I've tried reprogramming the key fobs by following the instruction videos & the step by step instructions on the internet. I've checked both fuse boxes and all the fuses with a test light. I've unplugged the Keyless Entry Module and plugged it back in firmly and tried again with following the instruction videos & step by step instructions.

- both remotes have new batteries & the LED on both key fobs light up when buttons are pushed.
- the power locks work when physically using the key in the drivers door to lock both doors at the same time.
- the drivers door lock switch unlocks the passenger door.

Any thoughts, tricks, tips to get the Keyless Entry System working?
- Testing procedures?

Are the modules known to fail & should I just buy a new / used working module & install it?

If the drivers lock actuator isn't working that may be affecting the keyless entry

When I use the key to physical unlock the drivers door, only the drivers door unlocks.
Sitting in the car, the power door lock switch will move the locks up & down on both doors (Coupe).
Upon exiting the car & physically locking the door with the key, both doors will lock from the outside.

***note, the panic button doesn't do anything, except turn the red LED light on, on the key fob. This is standing next to the car.
