cruise control no longer working

Me 2. Hi. My issue just started this evening noticed that my cruise control would not work and at the same time my brake lights would not go off even after I turn the car off tried all kinds of combinations of lights off blah blah blah what did your final solution line up being cheers

Likely going to be a bad brake pedal switch.
