need source engine [Please help is really not descriptive]
I have a 2004 Honda Civic ex coupe with a blown motor I absolutely love the car the body is in perfect condition don't want to get rid of it I'm trying to find a motor cannot find one anywhere can anyone help me out here it's a d-17
Re: Please help
What’s the trim level? That’ll differentiate between a D17A1 and D17A2.
As for sourcing, there are engine wholesale places and junkyards. If you do decide to try junkyard, find a totaled car. That’ll give the best chance that it still runs.

moved to proper forum section... General/Electrical/Wiring is really not the right place to post about engines.
car-part.com for scrapyard near you.
Choose same trim cars to get engine from. EX and HX have VTEC, the others do not. O2 sensors are different 01-03 and 04-05, so use the ones in your car.
Before installing, do (much easier now than later)
- timing belt/water pump
- front/rear seals
- head gasket with head flatness check
- change piston oil rings
