2005 honda civic special edition
Hello I have a 2005 honda civic special edition engine blown d17a2 Vtech and I have an engine from a 2005 Honda Civic d17a1 non Vtech . Can I take the head from my blown engine and put it on the good engine and not have issue with the key , wiring or anything else?

The head from the blown engine may be contaminated with little bits of metal. It would be a good idea to have a machine shop go through it and clean it. Otherwise you may end up with 2 blown engines
