Rep Power: 0 2005 Civic - Just cranks but no start
Working on an 2005 Civic. In the past month or so it has had issues starting. It just cranks and cranks but doesn’t want to start. Has a brand new battery,
no check engine light, timing belt has been replaced within the last year. If I put just a shot of starting fluid into it, it starts right up. When you turn the key on, you can hear the fuel pump run for a couple seconds. Car runs great after it starts. It’s intermittent which is agrevating. Thoughts? Was thinking crank position sensor. Thanks

Sounds like a fuel related problem then.
You'll have to find where it is failing.
-check fuel pressure at the rail.
-then check for pulse at the injectors (you can use a simple and cheap test light)
