I bought this 01 civic a few weeks ago needing a clutch. I replaced the entire clutch system so i wouldnt have to mess with it down the road. Upo installing the trans, the car ran an drove really good the only thing i noticed is that when you revved the car high it blew soot out the exhaust. Still ran an drove GREAT. May or may not have seen what the little D17 would do (which isnt much &#129315. The next morning i try an start the car and cranked an cranked wouldnt start. I unplugged the CPS an it started. Ever since them it will start an run without the CPS plugged in But WILL NOT if its plugged in.the car is in limp mode wont rev past 3500rpm. Car still didnt miss an ran an drove fine just cant go past 3500rpm. So i replace the CPS with absolutely no luck an didnt change anything at all. I left the car idle one night an left it idle too long, when i went to leave i gave it some throttle an it smoked some, not much but is now running like CRAP. No cyl misfire codes but runs like crap. Someone put a header an full exhaust on the car an it only has one 02 sensor now. I am in a predicament an scratching my head at where to look next. Maybe ecu?? Dont want to throw money am not get anywhere thats pointless. Thanks everyone

that is my next step, will start on that today. As for codes previous guy mentions, i have a upstream 02 code, cps code, and airbag code. Don't know numbers been a minute since i put my scanner on it
