Hey there,
Car got flooded in a storm up to about the driver's seat cushion about a year ago and ever since then both the low and high beams would not work. Something got shorted, fuses 15 and 17 would both blow. I've since replaced the Multiplex Control Unit and got fuse 15 to stop blowing, allowing the driver's side headlight to come on and stay on, however the passenger side headlight still wont come on. Fuse 17 continues to break. Looking at all the wiring diagrams I could find, it seems that if fuse 17 stopped blowing that would also fix the high beams as well. The car has yellow running lights which remain on, though I can't seem to find a DRL unit under the leftside dash where it ought to be, maybe something weird about my model? My original thought was to check the DRL unit since according to some wiring diagrams, power from fuse 17 runs to it, and it should have been in the area that got flooded along with the MCU. However, it seems like my model might not have it? Or at least I can't find it.
How should I go about diagnosing this issue?
EDIT: I forgot to mention that yes, I tried replacing the bulb. Though I don't think the flood even reached the headlights
EDITEDIT: Okay since I'm pretty sure the car isn't from Canada, that explains where there's no DRL module. Still, I'm not sure what else in the circuit to check
