Case: alternator falls and fries ECU
Hello, I have a 05 EX with not issues at all, the tittle is because I found this so much interesting watching and reading people with this problem: the alternator bolt loosen and lets fall the alternator making arcs and short circuit, this manner kills the ECU.
i want to know what causes this, I’m not into electric stuff but I have idea… (I know the ground in the alternator is the shell), so is the ground when falls what causes this or the power that touches the ground when falls? Why the fuses does not protect the ECU?
