Both the driver and passenger side rear windows intermittently stop working. I’ve replaced both regulator/motor assemblies within the last year and a half so that’s probably not the problem. I just replaced both switches not really expecting it to solve the problem, but figured I’d give it a try since it was quick and inexpensive, and no success. I suspect it must be a wiring issue in a circuit that they share since they both stop working at the same time. What do you guys think?

Common issue is the wire harness/bundle at the driver's door hinge area gets flexed over time and breaks wires. Check under the rubber conduit for broken wires that have become brittle with age and have broken or detached from the connector.
Has happened to me twice. I also had a bad rear window regulator too.
