Rep Power: 0 Cold Outside and Inside AC On allways
I have 2005 Civic and had a dead battery on and off for a week now. Its brand new and when charging it today i removed the +12 vdc and found the relay for the AC was on. I checked the Battery load at over 3 amps, and after removing this relay it was down to almost 0 amps. The relay is somehow getting powered when the ignition is switched off and keys out of the car. How can this be? Is there another relay that is not switching off? I would assume that when you turn off the ignition and remove the keys the AC is off but not in this case? What is the culprit? The ignition switch? The AC switch? It seems the AC relay is doing what it should do if power is applied.
