Dash gauges and lights not working.

02 honda civic lx dash cluster and gauges not working. And radio and ac controls not lighting up. Any idea what could cause this. Sometimes it all starts working then it goes back out.

I just bought car recently. Recent owner told me about the problem. Sometimes everything works normal. But then it will all stop working. What is the orange wire?

So does it have an aftermarket deck? If it does then you need to disconnect the orange wire that's in the stereo harness. You may need to replace the cluster as well

No aftermarket stereo, all stock with this car? I was wondering if it may be cluster or voltage regulator but car is running fine and charging fine.

Re: Dash gauges and lights not working.

Previous owner may have pulled it out and put the stock one back in before selling the car. Most likely a problem with the cluster. You'll need one from an 01-03 from the junkyard.
