Driver side power window issue 2005 EX Coupe

I recently loss use of my power window on the drivers side of my 2005 Honda Civic ex coupe. The switch does work to operate the passenger side but not the operate the drivers side. I cleaned the original switch with no luck so I replaced it and still no luck. When I do try and use the switch it does dim the lights like it is getting power but not working to raise and lower the window. In the past this would happen intermittently and now it is permanent it seems. Any thoughts before I buy more useless parts. Thanks!

sounds like the motor is jammed or dead.

you can test it by disconnecting it and jumping the motor direct to a car battery.

polarity doesn't matter, but try switching polarity as well, since one direction is up the other is down.

it should move right away, if not replace motor.

Ok that is simple enough and it looks like the motor is not too expensive if it does need replaced. To youtube I go for some direction. Thanks!

Check the fuse. On a sedan, it is the #23 (20A) in the Under-Dash Fuse/Relay Box. Might be same for coupe.

I ended replacing the entire motor. I have an extra drivers side switch if you want to purchase it hit me up. It took maybe 1-2 hours to replace.
