Transmission Fluid change
Hey Honda experts, I just came to know about this website and this is my very first post so I apologize if I come up with some basic questions and so instead on relying on some websites I thought i'll ask them here Anyways, is it just me or are there many people on here who have witnessed a major difference when you get the oil changed at Honda Dealership and Jiffy Lube, Valvoline, etc ?....Until now I've got oil changed about thrice at Honda dealership and about 5 times at Jiffy Lube and I've seen a greater performance every time I got the oil changed at Jiffy Lube. For my next I want to go to Valvoline and try their services.
I've hit 95k on my 2017 Civic LX. The maintenance service code is see is "A13" where A is Replace Engine Oil, 1 is Rotate Tires and 3 is Replace Transmission Fluid.
So my question. Do I go to Honda dealership to replace the Transmission Fluid or get it done at Valvoline/ Jiffylube and why ?
Thanks in advance !

Re: Transmission Fluid change
The biggest differences in oil is marketing.
ATF fluid change roughly once every three years. Say, dealership atf fluid and labor is $200 (rough estimate). Jiffy Lube $130 (my guess). For $23 per year difference which would give you more peace of mind?

Re: Transmission Fluid change
Definitely the dealership !
Again, I don't care about the price because as you said it's something that's changed every three years. Thanks for your input
