2018 clunky

I have the 2018 civic hatchback 6 speed manual and I find that in between first second and third it can be really clunky going into gear. it's lining up find it just seems that it doesn't always want to shift. fluid level is fine. I am considering going to Amisol manual transmission fluid though as I have heard this is better all around.

Re: 2018 clunky

Usually Honda manuals are considered to have a great feel.

It should have a nice pop into place. But if you have to hold it down and pull back multiple times to get it in gear, something is wrong.
