only 3000km on a 02 si-g and my auto tranny is going dead?

yesterday while driving home, something really weird happened...
as i accelerated from a stop, the car moved about a foot then stoped...it felt really rough too...like gears grinding...i didn't floor it either...
i think the rpm's were up there and car just stopped moving...ie, i'm reving while sitting in neutral..
i braked, tried again and car seemed normal again....
so WTF is wrong with my car? only 3000km on it too.
and anyone else getting shiety gas milage on their car? using calculations based on a full 50L tank, i'm getting roughly only 450-475km per tank...

Hmm... i'v had no problem with that ......... but mine is an 01 Si-G
and yeah.. my milege is like 450-475 .. but that's during the winter when i turn on a lot of heat ...
During the summer my windows are down and i don't turn on A-C .. and i normally reach 500ish ..
i got an intake and cat-back .. so i have no clue if that effects millege in anyway yet tho

500km is still 10L/100 KM...our cars are rated 8.2L/100 km for city driving
theoretically, we should be able to go 609km on one tank

i get pretty shitty mileage.
after fugging around in an empty parkinglot after fresh snow has fallen ... i look at the gas meter... and there's a significant decrease!! ...close to half of one section.. and this is only 3 min of fun in the parkinglot!!!

hmm i had that problem, are you saying that the car is like reving on its own? for me that happened cause my alarm siren fell into my engine and got stock in the acceleration spring or something.... i had to constantly break hard to make it stop revin on its own..

it gassed from a stop and car moved forward about a foot then i felt a jolt and car stopped...
it felt like gears grinding...
