Eibach's don't lower the car very much, not worth the $$$. Don't get me wrong, Eibach makes good stuff but I think they screwed up with the Gen 7's. I used to use Eibach Road Race springs with Koni Yellows, lowered the car 3 inches off the ground, best setup ever used!

My 2k1's GC's use Eibach springs.

Neuspeed are pretty good for the coupes, sedan's a different story. The neuspeeds levels out the car flat but because of the rear wheel well's shape, it makes the rear look lower than the front. Looks pretty bad to me.

My drop was about an inch and a half, and it wasn't enough.
It has settled a little now, and has gotten a little lower, looks
better now. But if you go any lower, you might end up causing
all kinds of other problems. I like the way mine looks now tho.

Look for my car on members rides, I'll have pics up by tonight.

roundeyericegirl, is that first pic of your car with the lowering springs on? It doesn't really look dropped at all -might just be the pic, I only ask because I was thinking about getting the eibachs, because I don't want camber problems.

No, I took that pic yesterday. Your right tho, it doesn't llok lowered in the pic, but
it does when you see it, especially next to other 2k1's, with no drop.

Roundy that looks tight
Are you planning to get the alignment kit, shocks, and strut bars soon?
hows the suspension now by the way? Is it better than before? Is the ride bumpier than before?

Good questions Ramen, I want to know too, how is the ride with those, did it tighten up the cornering at all? Your stock shocks are still good? Also if you don't mind how much did you get them for? I know they're a little more than progress, but I don't want to drop my car as much as the progress does. Also is the front and back even in hight?

Thanks in advance,
Redsands

Ya I was kinda thinking to get Prokit instead. Since it fits with stock springs and I wont need to get alingment kit for that either. My friends has prokit on his 2k2 golf. The suspension is really good, the corning is awesome, and the ride is really comfortable. So ya..
I want the car with the aggressive look, but if by getting sportline or any other low-drop springs requires me to get all other craps like shocks, alignment kit, struts, etc, I might not get it then. Money matters

O.K. The ride is a little bumpier, but barely noticeable. My drop was only 1.5 so I don't need
all that other sh*t, I got an alighnment when I had them installed and my car is perfectly
fine. As for corners, it kicks *** compared to before, corners are way more fun now, just
wanna add a stress bar and it'll be even better.
Can't remember how much I paid, I'll look and get back to you on that one.
The back is a little lower than the front, but again hardly noticeable.
I would recomend them for sure.

Sportlines are off the heeeeaaasssseeeyyyyy!!!!!!!!

They are the best, not to low, but the handling is awesome, I can out corner my friend with Neuspeed race springs in his 93 si!! Crazy man!! I want Konis now though, the ride is a little too bouncey for my taste, but it aint bad, Im just picky, I got mine for $289 and installed them at my friends house.
