tach not working-

tach not working-

my daughter just bought a 2016 civic...when i drove it i noticed the tachometer wasnt working but everyhing else in the cluster was. being used there was no manual to read and my google sarches didnt help. im not familiar yet with the whereabouts of everything on this car so can anyone lead me in the right direction ? i didnt find any loose connections.

we are all volunteer posters, we also have our own work during daytime. Sometimes it takes a few days to have someone that knows the car model/year to show up. 5 hours is not really a long waiting time...

Now, if you are paying us for the work, you can complain more, but you are not.
PS: You just reduced your chances of a reply from a Samaritan volunteer...

Are you sure you have the tach displayed? I think you can hide it on the 10th gens.

no problems.
just keep in mind that internet forums that you don't pay anything are made up of users that are volunteers. It's difficult because everyone wants help but nobody wants to help, especially on newer models owners.
concerning the visualizing the tach, hopefully it is in the owners' manual that I mentioned above.

I understand completely….. I’ll be searching the owners manual today. Will try to post pics of tach . It’s illuminated just not functioning .
