Hi,
daughter hit a fox. Errors now on dash for Collision Mitigation, ACC issue, Millimeter Wave

Code reader says P2583-87. "Lost communication with Millimeter Wave Radar"

Only troubleshooting guide I found for P2583-87 relates to Honda Pilot. Went through the guide, checked fuses under dash (slot 4 and slot 24 - 5 amp fuses), checked voltage across Millimeter harness pin (terminal 5) and ground , both OK. Then the Ground continuity check on harness (terminal 1 to ground) did not work. Not sure what to do next.

Wave Radar unit is secure and clean as well as the cover--no visible damage.

Any ideas please? Thanks

It's a diy if you're posting how to fix it.
does it need to be recalibrated maybe? Or the unit may be damaged internally, not sure how sensitive they are

Have you tried clearing faults first, see if it comes back.
