The messages were working and stopped all of a sudden. I have deleted the bluetooth phone connection and reconnected. I found the "new message notification" menu item and its set to ON. I have also verified that the phone is connected for both audio and phone. All other features work. I can make calls and play podcasts over bluetooth. Any ideas out there?

i would normally blame a phone update that does that
