Civic 2016 Bluetooth not working

Civic 2016 Bluetooth not working
The bluetooth on my civic touring 2016 stopped working. The car does show that phone is paired but no sound comes out of car speaker. I can see on phone that audio/video is playing but no sound comes out of ca speaker.
Tried it with 2 phones and tablets and got the same results. rebooted the car system but still the same results. any solution?
called honda and wait time is 3 weeks to get an appointment.thanks

Bluetooth volume on the devices turned all the way up, right? Just a dummy check. I've definitely done that before
