I’ve enjoyed my 2019 Hatchback Sport Touring for over 2 years now. No problems! Yesterday while driving with Apple Maps and my music playing, everything in the entertainment window shut off. Trying to fix it today I tried everything I could google, including change the USB cable. Now I can’t even connect to my phone. The Car Play doesn’t recognize it and on the phone it doesn’t even come up as available. Could something in my car, or my phone suddenly gotten fried? Bluetooth doesn’t work either. thanks!

Did you try restoring your iPhone with ReiBoot?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I did that. It does seem like it’s the car and not the phone. My son in law bought a new Civic 2 weeks ago. He came by yesterday afternoon. My phone connects to Car Play in his car and his phone won’t connect in my car. And we swapped the cables. So, we determined there’s some malfunction my car. So, I guess I’ll call the dealer today.

Definitely do that. I suspect it's still under warranty.

There have been a few times owners have had to bring the car back for a software update and that fixes it.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I seemed to have fixed the problem. I didn’t see anything on the web about this, but I finally found a video that showed my system and screen and the same issue. Simple solution is to reboot the entertainment system by holding down the on/off/volume button for 10 seconds. It then asks you if you want to reboot. Click, YES. It takes about a minute, which the video explains and then it’s fixed. Amazing. I don’t know why I couldn’t find this info sooner.

Now, I have to use it for a few days to be sure it doesn’t happen again before I cancel my appt. at the dealer.

That sounds temporary at best. I'd keep the appointment.
