My 2016 Honda Civic EX 4dr Sedan wont make the beeping sound after i lock the car using the key when i press the lock button twice, it soesnt make the beeping sound even when i use the button on the door handle, please help me

I believe there is a setting for that in the radio menu. You can toggle it on and off.

I did, i turned it off and back on it still wasnt working, i also made sure the doors/trunk/hood were closed all the way, it still wasnt working

Did you just purchase the car? Did it used to work and now it doesn't?

The hood and trunk may be closed but the car could think they are open if there is a bad switch.

It was my dad's car. It was working like 3 days ago. And all of a sudden it stopped. No accidents or anything like that

I’m sorry I don’t have the answer for this but I was wondering if someone could help me out with something. I recently removed my hood latch and just installed quick fastener pins instead so now my car won’t beep when pressing the lock twice on the fob or when I press the button on the door. How can I bypass the wire that suppose to be plugged into the latch or how can I trick it to think it is. Thank you in advance.

You should just have to jump the switch out. Connect the wires together.
