RPM fluctuation and acceleration

Hey y'all. I have a 2020 Honda Civic Hatchback LX, with the 1.5T. Currently has 32,000 miles. I noticed recently that the rpms fluctuate about 50 to 100 and steady speeds. I also noticed that during acceleration it doesn't feel smooth. It kind of feels like it is slightly missing or hesitates. I didn't realize this until I felt it jerk/buck a few times one day. I'm not sure if I'm being paranoid or of this is how the turbo and CVT normally operates. I just left the dealership and they couldn't find anything wrong.

The 1.5T and CVT in my '16 is completely smooth during acceleration. You may notice some RPM fluctuations while cruising, that doesn't sound like anything to worry about.

If you don't mind, watch this youtube link and tell me what you think. It's exactly what mine is doing. If the link doesn't work you can google "Honda civic rpm fluctuation" and it's the first video that comes up. "2016 honda civic"

Hmm, that is a little odd. If mine does that I've never noticed it. I still don't think it's much of an issue unless it gets worse.

Re: RPM fluctuation and acceleration

Alright, Thank you. It doesn't seem to be affecting anything. Im even averaging 44 mpg. As far as the acceleration issue, maybe I'm feeling bumps in the road making it feel like it's hesitating cuz you can feel every little bump there is ol. Guess I'm just being paranoid lol do have an extended 100,000 mile warranty so hopefully if something does happen, it will before then. Again, I appreciate it.
