Muffler Nuts welded to the exhaust bolt?

I have a 2020 Civic Hatchback EX and when I went to take off the muffler I realized that I couldn’t take off the nut to actually get the bolt off and take out the muffler. Does anyone have tips as to getting it off or if it is in fact welded? I can’t cut off anything because it is a lease. Please help.

Usually the nuts are welded to the flange, put the wrench on the bolt head instead

buy some replacement nuts and use a pair of toothed vise grips to get a monster hold on 'em to break it loose. Replacement nuts since removal may be destructive to the originals. May need coercing with a mallet of sorts. Those aren't welded on, just corroded to hell and stuck on
