turn signal bulbs
anyone know if it is illegal to run coloured turn signals? I was hoping on getting them to flash red. Also am i right that is 1157 bulbs for the blinkers & the headlights?
i want a baby hummer :)

i remember when i was new i was silent for a while...was afraid to post.
and for mods, to each his own right? if he likes red, then he likes red. It's just like others having blue turn signal lights or others having hyperwhite turn signal lights. but still, red, blue and hyperwhite are illegal.

Rep Power: 0 alright fine so apparently the question as been answered already a million times. well i had never heard whether it was or not and i've been on customcivics.com for over a year now. Anyways laws change from place to place, no harm in asking about the laws in this area. Red neon underbody kits for example, are illegal in some places i am told. Hear in Ontario the HTA says that no vehicle shall display red lights cast to the front. But does that include neons since the bulb isn't directly visible? some say yes some say no. 2 ontario police, one a OPP and another a london cop told me that there is nothing wront with it. Thankyou for answering my question guys and to the guys with the attitude.............

i am using the F1 Spec R blue turn signal, even the bulbs is blue colour, the colour of light output is bluish white and i had them on since aug 2002 and no tickets so far.
another tips, when u see popo and u have any colour of turn signal bulbs other than amber, dont signal it until the cop left cuz if they see somethign bright flashing adn it is not amber, u are in trouble
