Help with Seat Install!!!
Has anyone put aftermarket seats in their car?
I tried to get mine installed and they told me that I would have to destroy my OEM seats in order to put the aftermarket ones in so they can use the parts from it???
SOmething about the Passenger side airbag being disconnected and the seatbelt not being able to plug in anywhere.
I am confused???
I love my new seats and I want them in my car but not if I cant put the OEM ones back in later and if my airbags arent gonna work.
I know that Stillmatik and FlippedOut have seats. If you guys or anyone else can shed some light on the subject please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

go to Alex's shop and get it installed. he will make custom brackets and whatever that guarantee fit the aftermarket seats in your car and yet he wont destroy your stock seat's rails, sliders, brackets...etc
Alex's shop is located in
114 Sinnott Road unit 15
Scarborough, 416-750-4015

just tell Alex, Ken from 7thgen civic club sent you (i am the one with the silver sedan and he lowered my car) he will hook u up with a sweet deal.
good luck
you have to use the factory rails and sliders..so in essence you do have to take them off your factory....you are better off buying the parts seperately from honda so that alex can just make them without tearing the ones off your factory..i gave mine to FLIPPEDOUT..ask him...they bolted right in..perfect fit....

THanks for some of the feedback guys.
I really was hoping to have them in for the meet but I think I will hold off and talk to more people at the upcoming meet and check out how theirs are done.
iamfob thanks for Alex's info I will be contacting him.
Msoft I bought red D.A.D reclinable seats. $700
I think they look cool, I just hope I can get them in smoothly.

Hey iamfob, do u think alex can use my aftermarket rail and bracket instead of ripping off my stock ones..cause the aftermarket ones won't fit since they are for 2000 civics...think he can make the adjustments?
