Rustproofing...do we really need it?

Rustproofing...do we really need it? I was just wondering what everybodys thoughts were about rustproofing our cars. Do you think its necessary or should I just leave it. 
hmm.. i had mine done at honda but i think its worth it if ur planning on driving in the winter..
but everything rust's over time with or with out the rust proofing..
rust proofing just slows it down a bit

Rep Power: 0 I didn't opt for the rustproofing when I got my Civic, however, during the winter I try to wash my car as frequently as possible to get off the salt which should definately help fight in the long run.
