People with Yok tires: Please help
Recently i have sold my wheels to someone on the site and couple weeks later he found that "the belts on the inside of the tires sidewall have let go and there is a bulge" and said something about the tire will blow anytime!! i feel so bad to sell him a busted tire and i want to help out. He said yokohama would replace this if i have the reciept and well i brought it used, now i lost all contact with the guy who sold it to me and i have no idea what to do
if theres any suggestion i would be greatly appreciated!! i was think maybe someone who has the same tires can donate their reciept to me but guess no one would wanna do that
BTW: they're yok avid h4s

I am the one who got the wheels from Blkcivic and noticed the bulge on the sidewall when I was checkin my tire pressure that night. I took it to a couple of places and they told me it was hazordous to be driving on it like that cause its unpredictible. They place I decided to go to was an authorized Yokohama tire dealer but they made it pretty clear that without the reciept they cant do anything. I find that kinda stupid myself cause its obviously a Yokohama product and its failing. It shouldnt matter if I have a reciept or not! Oh Well maybe I can try and call Yokohama Customer Service and see if I can get anywhere that way. Maybe this Yokohama tire dealer doesnt really give a **** about me cause I never gave him the business to begin with. I dont know.
I'll try the Customer Service line tomorrow and see if I can get anywhere.
Its just tough because since I am not the original buyer they treat you differently. They wanna know where they were bought and when... and stuff like that.

hey, it's not that bad. even if you have to buy another tire. i can get them for you for about $140(+tax) each 215/45/17 or $125(+tax) each 205/40/17 (avid h4). let me know if you want them. that's the cheapest price in ontario.

Yokohama wont help me without a reciept or Dealer invoice.
They say that they had a problem with tires going missing at different distributors and the only way they will help is if there is a proof of purchase.
Has anyone purchased Yokohama Avid H4's 205/40/17 and have a reciept or dealer invoice they can hook me up with?
I dont want to dish out another $150 for another tire!
