Hey I think that SiR you posted might belong to Steve Wilcox. He used to co-own AutoSalon here in town. His last car was SWEET. Won darkknights repeatedly, and was featured in SCC.
He lives in Mississauga now I think.....
Anyways, I love that car. Except for the BuddyClub spoiler. Can't really tell from the angle of the pic, but that thing belongs on the batmobile!

As for me, I've just been working a lot. Too much actually. Election time is kinda hectic around here. Sunday's gonna be a 16 hr work day Have to help relight the studio. Fun times....NOT!

Oh Man WTF, my 7th Gen is turning into the biggest piece of **** ever. The whole front end is trying to fall off now guys . I'm not buying a new Xenon front either. Hell no i'm gonna just get a whole new kit. Unless i can get this piece of crap front end fixed I got.

Sounds good Dennis.. I haven't been out to any meets for both of these reasons:
a) I kinda lost my licence.. But I get it back in a week and a half or so.
b) My car is in pretty shitty shape.. I'm not putting any of the new parts on it until I get the rest of them and until its repainted.

I've gone to a couple LAC meets before with my buddy Perry, but I wanted to fix my car before I went to any others. I'll definately be out and about though!

I'll be there with APRboy shortly after 10.....if you get to Richmond and Dufferin...going west on Dufferin, we'll be at the tall parking garage on the SOUTH side of Dufferin. If it rains we'll just go down a level.

hey Dennis,
What are some of the mods from the RSX that are compatable with our cars?
I don't want anything rediculous on my car.. Just subtle things. Is the RSX exhaust even worth it or are there no gains?
I tried doing a search but didn't come up with much and I saw the thread you started. Are there any slick RSX mods that can be put on our car for an equal amount of gain?

the meet was pretty good lastnight, not too many people but it was good none-the-less.

Joski, some RSX mods include:
front and rear sway bar
shift ****.....very slick
engine
ummmmm....thats all I can think of, the exhaust would be useless unless you custom fit the downpipe, simply because the headers are completly different.

Yeah... the only things that are compatable between the two cars are suspension upgrades as Big mentioned.
ie. front/rear sway bars... i know the Cusco rear strut bar for the RSX fits our cars.

As for full catback exhaust systems, they will not fit... although I think a axelback might but don't quote me on that.

Yea I kindof figured the full cat-back wouldn't fit simply because the piping wouldn't line up the same. What about the brakes? Arren't the RSX brakes compatable with the Civic? Like you can do an all-wheel disc conversion on our cars I'm pretty sure. I don't know if it would be worth it though unless you bought the stuff to do the conversion used then got aftermarket brake parts (ie. rotors, calipers, pads, etc). As you can tell, I clearly know nothing about a conversion like this.

The RSX holds a 5 bolt pattern... the swap is possible but it's not worth it.
What you can do instead is find a SiR (EP3 Hatch) and do a rear disc swap. The bolt pattern is the same (4x100), the parts are interchangable, and you might be able to find one for a fair price at the wreckers.

Cool! I didn't know that the RSX was a 5 bolt. I probably won't do a conversion like this, but I remember before that people were talking about doing it. Thanx for the info!
