Xian...
I can't comment on any of the places you listed.. In my town (Strathroy), There's 22 Auto Body (Friend of the family) and then there's A to Z (I fix the guys computer, great guy, great prices.. Just did my buddys blue/purple Prelude). A to Z (Eric) did an AMAZING job on my friends car.. If you ever see the car around, take a look at it. He got the rear and sides molded in and stuff.
Dasica.. I work at Crappy T.. All the pads/shoes should be a direct swap unless you need a hardware or spring kit.. Which I doubt, considering the age of our cars. If you miss the deal just gimme a hollar and I'll give you the sale price!
They are on for 1/2 price.. They have a 3 year warranty or lifetime warranty if you get them installed at Crappy T.

Well I just got back from Honda, They replaced my front shocks under warranty, I dont even think they were blown but they changed em anyways wich was alright with me.
One dumb question- Do we have shocks and struts in the front? my buddy was trying to tell me its called a strut in the front, what is the differnce between a shock and strut?
So the install on Sunday starts at 6pm?
Who is all goin to that meet at blockbuster on Saturday?

i'll be at the meet on saturday,
yeah, that's when the install starts
we have struts, but there are shocks inside of them.. it'll be easier to show you when we have them out of your car
and its great that honda took em out for you.. all the rust should be broken off (and hopefully the mech didnt go nuts with the impact gun putting them back on.. or we'll be finding interesting ways of losening the bolts.. lol)

Yeah I don't have an exam on Monday I'll go to the install Sunday and study Monday. And I'll be at the meet for sure unless it rains.
Is there anybody here that are really good at exhaust setups? I went to Muffler Man and he told me I'd lose horse power and back presure with dual. Plus it's a Honda why would you want to. I told him he just lost $400 and to take my car off the lift. Any suggestions on how I can keep/gain horse power and back presure whle have duals? Anybody know a good custom exhaust place in London?

the only way to keep horsepower is to go with smaller piping beucase you'll have double the flow, you'll want less flow per pipe.
Are you doing true dual or just a Y pipe?

You shouldn't take it to Muffler Man anyway.. They're pretty overpriced. There's a place in London (I can't remember the name, but you may find it in the yellow pages) that does custom piping. A guy I work with told me about some custom stainless steel setups they do.
There's a 7thgen in my town that has the dual (I think DC Sport) exhaust, but I'm pretty sure it's just a Y pipe because it's an Issani.
I can't find the name of the place in the Yellowpages either so I'll talk to the guy and post it this afternoon.

he pretty much has to use a y pipe, doesnt he?
as for the backpressure problem, do what Big said... make the area in the dual piping half of what is in the main pipe (ie if the main is 2" you'll want to make the two others 1.5")

Hey I found the name for the exhaust place.. A guy I work with said he got some work done at Tobince, which is on Dundas.. I guess if you tell him that you're in some sort of group (LAC/7thgencivic.com) he'll give you a little deal or something. Hopefully that helps, if not, check out that Ractive one that Big is talking about!

Hey Big I have a couple questions for ya..
Can you still get the Kicker subs? If so, can you get singles and not only pairs? I was just wondering because a couple friends are looking for subs but only singles.. So if you can get singles, can you post the prices of the different models and stuff? Thanks alot!

Wouldn't keeping the stock size but splitting the exhaust make for less power? Or would it just make it really loud?
