Yup.. $250 delivered(after april 7th only) .. $275 Shipped(anytime) for an eclipse 5441 with 5 volt pre-outs..Like all high end eclispe HU's it has an incredibly clean sound output. It's not too huge on features that you'll never use anyhow. Just pure sweet sound quality and classy but cool display.

HU retials for over $800 I paid $500 for it a bit over a year ago and it doesn't skip, works great, no scuffs or scratches, it's Mint..

go http://www.eclipse-web.com and look at the 5442..it's the same HU..just a year older.. I do not have the remote which part of why the price is this low...But in a civic who the hell uses a remote..the HU's not even a full arm length away..[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]..

$250 is as low as I can possibly go without having a lingering feeling that I took something up the exist only hole...

No MP3.. plays CD-R's and I've played some CD-RW's thought it..some worked some didn't...

FOr the price of an entry lvel pioneer your getting better sound quality than anything Pioneer has except the P9R

Can you see the display clearly during the day? I am happy with my Alpin 7892 except I can't see a thing during the day.
I probably can't buy it now because I spent too much money last month on car audio stuffs... but if display can be seen clearly during the day and still have it in April... Let me know in April. Hopefully I have some money to spare by then.

There's no HU which has a display that can be clearly seen during the day if mounted in the OEM location... (hey I'm honest).. But let it get dusty and the glare cuts down by 80% and it becomes much more visible..overall it's better than pioneers and Clarions as far as Glare goes.. No experience with Alpines or Kenwoods in a 7thgen yet..

face does not detach.. but you can set the ESN on it and anyone steals it it's 100% useless to them. It reads CD text and has a conservative but very nice display
