Pulled over for dirty plates, had to stand outside! Grrr
That's right....
Them SOB cops have nothing better to do...
Driving east at Yonge/Eglinton, and a cop pulls up behind me... Frig. When the light turns green, he flashs and puts on that blaring beep thing at me. I pull over, turn off the car, and wait. Friggen guy blares at me twice, and when I look in the rearview mirror, he does a "come here" motion to me. WTF? I'm supposed to stay in the car....
So, I walk out, with my hands in the air.... (No, not really
)...
I walk up to the guy's door and say "Hello officer"..... He says "you mind cleaning off your rear plates so I can see them?"
Fine. I run back, grab a tissue, and clean them... Car's stock, but has a grey license plate cover in the back... Uh oh... don't bust me for that!...
I'm standing there, while he's in the warm cruiser... I can feel the heat coming out of the window... WTF.. I'm standing there doing a chicken dance in the cold..... Then he asks me if I have any drugs in the car! WTF...
After that, he says "ok sir, keep the plates clean otherwise it's a $110 fine. Have a good day"....
Frig. Fine, the car's dirty, and so are the plates. But do your job and get out of the friggen cruiser...

In a way he was being an ***, but in a way he was letting you off easy, he didn't give you a ticket which was really lucky, since he already
pulled you over and i'm sure you know grey plates are illegal, I have em too hah.......
but thats tight that he can actually tell you to get out of the car, if i were you i would have pretended to clean the grey plate and then totally rip it off secreatly , w00t

A cop made me wait in my car for 20 minutes one time after I got caught driving dangerously (drifting through corners when I had my old car). It was pouring rain like crazy and he just sat in his car and waited untill the rain died down. Let me off. I told him My cars and automatic and the roads are bad with this rain. I was driving a 1974 Dodge coronet with an allmighty 426 hemi which was had a rebuilt block that had cracked. I miss that POS car

It sucks having to get out of your car and walk over to the cop while he stays warm, but on the other hand, just be happy that you didn't get a $110 ticket, he let you off at least. Its a trade off, freeze your *** off for 10 minutes = no ticket... good deal.
