OT: my Rogers account stop working..HELP

ok starting last night around 9pm i no longer can receive and send out emails. the internet connection was fine and i didnt change the setting in Outlook express, and i am using a router at home to split the internet, so i can't call rogers technical support for help. can someone please help me out cuz i really need to check my email for school's assignment.

Incoming mail(POP3) : pop.wlfdle.phub.net.cable.rogers.com
Outgoing mail(SMTP): smtp.wlfdle.phub.net.cable.rogers.com

the error msg i received was: The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'pop', Server: 'pop.wlfdle.phub.net.cable.rogers.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

well I always thought Rogers mail go down quite often... I think it's just another one of those.... your internet is working... so call them, tell them the problem... just say you can't get mail... ask if their side is down or something.

i called and they said there's no report of any problem and when the guy asked me for my IP address and on my computer it said 192.XX...
and i know if i tell him that then they wont help me either....so anyone else from Toronto also experience the same problem like me? any computer genius here? i need help quick

I'm also on a router... you can forget the router momentarily and hook up the modem right to your comp, then get them to help you... you'll just have to set up your computer again for the router which is not too hard.

or you can see if Rogers has webmail and sign up for it and see if you can get your mail that way.

by sign up, I mean activate

i tried other servers and ping pop and smtp and still no response...damn it...
4 sent, 0 received, 4 lost (100% lost) to both pop and smtp server
what to do now?

umm i think you maybe using the wrong pop and smtp, i've never seen those before, anyways i'm on router too, use these, it'll work

pop3 pop.broadband.rogers.com
smtp smtp.broadband.rogers.com

I'd suggest making sure it's not the router. Since your using a router I'm assuming that your using other machines. Have you tried using another comp to check ur email? or just connect it directly to the cable modem, and if it still doesn't work, call rogers, and give them your ip and such.
