I'm just guessing here but since most of the Honda OEM parts are Denso, I would assume you could get them from the dealership too.

Better spark which means better combustion. I don't know if you'll notice a difference. I've read dyno tests where people using blowers or turbos solve problems just by using them but on a stock car not sure..if you want the best throw em in

A few months ago, i wanted to change my spark plugs too, but I got some advice from a mechanic. He told me that there is not need since the spark plugs in our car are already good enough. So I didn't bother spending the money. That's what I've been told. Also since our car is Direct Ignition, can't even upgrade the wire (Triple Core) like the previous civics.

Check out www.iridiumsparkplugs.com for more info about Denso iridium plugs. They run for about $25 each. They give better sparks than platinum and last longer, but as a conductor, they are inferior to copper plugs. Just by changing plugs will not offer any dramatic gain in performance unless your plugs are old (>48000km, say). For cars with direct ignition like Gen7 Civics, the gain, if any, by changing the plugs, doesn't really justify the $ invested.

True... no real performance gain.... but I think with gas prices the way they are now, spark plugs would be a good investment in the long run....
