Does anyone hear know where i can get new, black housing for my headlights on my Acura 1.7El?

or

Does anyone who lives in Toronto, Canada that paints the housing ?

You can paint the housing yourself. Gusto on this board has cleared a lot of headlights here. He can black them out for you for a minimal fee

ur best bet is to take them apart and use high temp black paint and paint them urself

IMHO, the 1.7EL lights look great, fits the car. Doing a blackout or smoke on it is a waste of those lights!

You have chrome trim all over the body anyway, that's why the chrome housing fits...

I think the H4 part is the same but the turn signal is an oval... Looks different... I dunno how it'll look on a Civic... Feels kinda wrong...

from what I can see it should fit but you might have a problem with the fitting of the light bulbs cause they look different.

Oh, I see what you guys mean about the turn signals... I think there's a signal bulb inside the headlight housing too. Someone with EL confirm this.

the regular low beam and peanut bulbs are visible...
but i think there's a bulb behind the orange reflector too

The shape of the 1.7 headlight is different than the civics... it looks the same from far but when u look closely, it has a different edge. It will fit if u change the both side fenders.
