I like Petro most. Tried all others, only Petro gas seems to give the little boost after filling up. This was especially true on my old 89 Civic (when it was still around) too. No premium gas from any station matches up to regular Petro.

I Use Esso 87 Octane..
Fun fuel facts for everyone.
Octane rating does not affect perfomrance in any way. Neither negative or positive. higher octane fuel does not burn slower or dirtier. It just has a higher flash point. Some Fuel companies use more cleaning additives in their premium fuel. So what?. a bottle of fuel injector cleaner every oil change will do the trick no matter what you use.
Shell fuel does have a higher sulfur content. This cause your engine oil to break down a little quicker.
Fuels containing ethanol burn a little more rich. Ethanol is much thinner than gasoine and causes more fuel to be passed through your injectors which slightly lowers fuel economy. (maybe .03-.2L/100km)
Octane itself is a type of fuel. Octane and Heptane mixed are Gasoline. regular fuel (87octane) contains 87 parts octane 13 parts heptane. Heptane is a far less stable fuel that octane but is cheaper to produce.
Octane ratings now are almost unrelated to octane content in fuel. Most Gasoline now is all 85 parts octane, 15 parts heptane and chemichle stabilizers which increase the fuels "octane" rating. This is to keep costs lower. Octane now as you all know it is highly innacurate in it's orignal sense. "Anti-Knock Index" would now be the proper terminology for Gasoline.
Did I miss anything?

I use Shell regular...
Would like to get the speedpass but it's so big and ugly... wish they made a small one like Esso. BAH!!!
BTW, is it that much faster using a speedpass?

yes i tried both and they were pretty fast..at least i dont have to walk into the cashier and wait in line and pay
i think teh Shell's tag is slimmer but a little longer...the esso's speed pass is a piece of plastic round thingie..

I always try to use Sunoco 87. Octane does not matter for our cars, as long as it is 86+. Buying premium is only a waste of money for our engines.
It has also been tested that Sunoco has the lowest sulfur content among major brands in Ontario. Sulfur is the leading contributor to acid rain and other environmental concerns. Low sulfur will also prolong the life of your catalytic convertor.
Sunoco also includes ethanol to their gasoline to improve emissions and act as a natural gas line anti-freeze.
According to a recent study, in order of least to most sulfur content:
1. Sunoco
2. Petro-Canada and Shell
4. Esso
