OT: Stupid Cops
I was driving to Taco Hell last night, when I saw these cops blocking the road. There were about 6 cruisers, with their cherries on, and cops wearing safety vests.. a RIDE program, obviously. I didn't drink or anything, so no worries... finally I come to a stop. One of the cops motion me to come to him.. the he checks out my car. Checks out the rims, the lights, etc etc... Then he sticks his head into my car.. I *expected* him to ask me if I had any alcholic beverages tonight, but instead, he goes "Do you know the speed limit here is 50km/h?"
WTF.. no sheit ***** tracy... I knew I was going 50km/h, since I checked my speedo, prior to stopping. So I asked "Really, how fast was I going?" He replied "Well, a LOT MORE than 50, I'll tell you that!" Scarcasic ****.. A lot more than 50??!?! What is he on crack?? Why the HELL would I go that fast, when I KNOW there are cops in front of me?
So I said "I don't think so officer, I had my eye on the speedometre and it said 50 on the dot." Then he goes "No no no, you were going WAY faster than that." Now he's aqusing me of lying... probably other cars slowed down to a crawl when they see cops... so by me doing 50, I'm sure it LOOKED like I was going fast in comparison. I decided to ask him "Did you clock me with your radar gun?" Then he gets pissed off, thinks I'm being a smart ***. He says no.. but he can still give me a speeding ticket. Then I told him I *wasn't* speeding again. He gives me sarcastic nod... asks me a few more questions, like where I am going, etc... then he tells me to slow down for the rest of the night.
What a f***ing bonehead. The guy accuses me of something I didn't do, and won't even apologize for it. Got nothing better to do than pick on Hondas. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 0 Yup, they'll do that. Last time I almost ran a red becoz I was woozy from a sleeping pill (hahaha, the legit kind from a doctor, just took it at 4am so still woozy at 10am)... Stopped in time with half a car length past the line. Cop was at the other direction so he pulled beside me and yelled "what the hell are you doing? were you going to run the red if I weren't here?". I just told him I didn't stop in time, but I was only approaching the intersection at 30kpm or smthg (not a speed to run a red with, haha). He kinda gave me a nasty look and took off, couldn't ticket me if my car didn't actually run past the white line.

their faster, got racing stripes and cool lights. c'mon they even have a cup holder for their shot gun.

Rep Power: 0 The other day my brother told me he was going down Dennison past Kennedy and you know that turn? Well all of a sudden Popo turned on the sirens and strobes so my brother changed lanes to the right. Than the cop passed like all the cars that was in traffic and than he turned off his sirens and strobes and proceeded to go 60......now that's power trip.
