I use 87 octane and get 600 - 625 km per tank
I have a 5 spd Si ( no mods)

miyuki ... that's something i'm not sure of either ...

would it make sense to use a higher octane if one has modifications to their engine ?.

nymbus u dont need a higher octane unless ur running
direct ingition msd box and so on.
if ur not running that good stuff under hood its pointless
when i used to run 89 i used to only get like 400 to 450 max.
