Hi guys,
The EL's have no keyhole on the trunk, just keyless and the manual pull switch (with the gas door release). Both my keyless and the manual pull aren't releasing the trunk. I tried the FuelDoorFix hoping that it was the same problem my 7th Gen Civic had with the rusted gas door cable, but it still doesn't work.

Any suggestions?

Do you have a model with the glow in the dark emergency release ?? If so drop down the back seats and try the lever to se if it will open ( all 3 perform the same action to the latch though)

Are you getting any noise when attempting with remote ??

Thanks for the quick reply Craig! Sorry, I've been busy with exams and the whole job search thing.

I don't have the glow in the dark emergency release. I dropped the back seats and crawled into the trunk with a flashlight, but couldn't find the lever. I can take a picture if it makes it easier.

I DO hear a noise when I press the trunk release button, so I don't know what's wrong with the release.

Perhaps the latch is jammed?

Or the motor in the release mechanism could be dead/not working properly

Crawl back in and work the button, look and see if anything is moving or trying to move when using the button.
