HID Kit from Xenith

Hi Gang,

Has anyone in the GTA or West of the GTA purchased an HID kit from George/Xenith?

http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=225867

I've got an '05 Civic Si and am looking to install HIDs but wanted to see them installed first so I know how easy/hard it would be to back out the kit if I don't buy out the lease.

Thanks!

Well, it's a lease and I don't know if I want to keep it when the lease is up so I'd like to be able to easily reverse the install..

If I retrofit complete headlights it's a much more involved install. In addition, it would take a tonne of research to figure out what I wanted.

Thanks!

not really TONS of research..
http://retrofit1.dirtysamurai.com/
and get your self valeo projectors, pop them in and your done
Well, D2S bulbs, ballasts, wiring harness and THEN your done.

But if you are looking at just the HID kit for H4 application, then its 10 min to install, prob 5 min to reverse.

I bought the H4 bi-xenon kit for my 2001 Acura EL.

- TONS of glare, looked like I always had high-beam on... (I couldn't figure out how to get my headlights to adjust downwards)
- Bi-Xenon DOES NOT WORK. Either the wiring for the Canadian cars are different, or whatever. Xenith has YET to have an H4 bi-xenon buyer anyway; not that I know of. Keeps on bringing up ONE person that he knows that bought it and worked.
- I ended up selling the kit for half price :'(

That must be hella frustrating to spend so much and not get it to work after all?!
I was in fact going to buy a bi-xenon HID kit else where and see absolutely no point in spending so much money for one you see all the luxury cars that have HID for lo beam which is already bright enough they all use halogen bulbs for hi beam anyways
