They rub off of the rotor swept area, but they remain:
1. inside the vents (so you get optimal cooling for the life of the rotor)
2. on the hat/hub (so they never seize on your car)
3. inside the slots/holes (so they never clog)
They prevent corrosion in all of those places, so they are well worth the bit extra, as the extend the life of the rotor.

Rep Power: 0 So far majority of the members have these installed and from what I hear they are lovin them!
The sale price stands until April 30th
$150.00 tax included, for gold/silver/black CAD plated front slotted or drilled rotors
$55.00 tax included for KVR CF front pads
I have quite a few in stock, so you could have them as soon as yesterday!

Rep Power: 0 Bumping an old thread....
The stealership wanted to machine my fronts AND rears... My fronts have been machined twice already......
Front machining would cost about $175, rears about the same So, I thought I'd look into this again...
Did anyone have any problems installing? I saw an old FS thread of someone that bought Telly's set, and he said his mechanic could not install them on an EL (the rears)....

Rep Power: 345 That's cause his mechanic is obviously not very skilled with an impact screwdriver and a wire brush.
Remember fuzzbomb, for the cost of machining you can actually just get a set of rotors. In fact for the $350 it costs to machine your front and rear you can almost get front and rear KVR rotors. I recommend you just get blanks, the slotting eats pads faster than normal rotors (not that I care much, you know me and my aftermarketisms).
