Has This Ever Happen To You?

wassup everyone, heres my lil story!

well i juss baught a set of HIDs (BrightStar 6500k) for my car like 2 days ago. Yesterday i was loving it becuz it was raining hard and i could actually see the road when i was driving down to kloo for a friends bday jam. and as i was driving down there i was driving behind a 2001 corolla. and this driver intentionally slowed down let me pass then went behind me and turned on his HIGH BEAMS for like a good 5min. and i was thinkin in my head is this person DUMB??

and so on the way back from waterloo i was drving once again minding my own business and another idoit does the same thing!
mind u i was driving normally according to speed limit cuz of the rain, keeping enough space between me and the next car.

for those who has HIDs has that ever happened to u? or am i not getting something here? i didnt do anything wrong, didnt cut no one off, am i missing something?

IMO...it could be that your hid's are producing too much glare. So when you're behind somebody, they think you have your high beams on, which you actually dont??

Take a few pics from about 20 or so feet away from a wall and post them in the lighting forum. They should be albe to tell you if you have too much glare.

I personally have no idea what glare is, but its not good.

Aim your headlights lower and you should be OK. I get highbeamed every once in a while myself. But serious if a guy's gonna follow you around and highbeam you for a little glare in your highs, he'd probably do the same to a stock HID-equipped BMW just cause he's lookin for a little road rage venting. If you need help aiming hit me up.

Too much glare. Our stock headlights aren't made for HID's.
