advice on loans
anyone know where u can go in the GTA to get a loan, private loan that is... up to $1000? not with banks, or pay day advances or anything like that.
pm if u any info...bills are runnin up and im between jobs right now, so i need some way to consolidate them.

Whatever you do, don't go to those Pay Day advances thing... They've been busted numerous times.... The actual cost for a loan adds up to like 60% interest. Plus, they are not allowed to sell you the "insurance" to go with it, since they do not officially have licenses to sell insurance in canada. They've been banned from doing so, but I remember they were still doing it because they said they had a loophole........
The best thing to do? Apply for a LINE OF CREDIT when you actually have a job. You may be denied if you have bad credit history though, but it'll save your *** when you need the money.
Friends/family are your best bet. Although, I am hiring for a $65/hr job though doing software development, 2 mths contract. (If you had the required skills, you probably wouldn't be asking where to get $1k loans though).
If you let those bills hang around too long, your credit history will get messed up too, so watch out.
And above all, don't borrow from loan sharks! You've watched the movies!
