neuspeed sport drop in winter...

i'm dropped 1.75 front and 1.5 rear. i will porbably put my stock wheels back on for winter. is it true that snow can clog the wheel well and freezea possibly damaging the plastic wheel well under covers?

i'm thinking of getting a winter beater so i won't have to take my wheels off but it may be too expensive for me. i hate winters.

i have the same drop and all i do for winter is put my stock wheels on, don't bother changing my springs and it's not so bad. No problems so far!

I don't hate winters myself - just the majority of drivers that cannot operate properly under their conditions, but the salt - I love and hate. Great for traction, bad for car

As for the drop, *if* you get a bunch of snow you might plow a little, but honestly you shouldn't be that bad. Coworker has gone through two winters now in his jetta with Neuspeed drop, and I'm pretty sure he sits lower than our Civics with them on.

well if you can find a decent little beater for a good price buy it, You'll save km's, and winter damage, cheaper insurance and you wont have to worry about it.

When the snow goes in the wells I always just clean it out.
Like when I get to where Im going I will clear out the wheel wells while it is still slushy rather than letting it freeze in there.

lowering your car does not require you to change the shocks....however...the front shocks on 01-04 civics and ELs are known to blow even without lowering...if you have the money i would recommend getting the koni yellow shocks...

its a worthwhile investment.

Yea i know that much

But I thought I'd just sell the Neusport and just get the full-coilcover (hayame) cuz Koni+Neusport will be about 6~700 and Hayames are like 650..I dunno what to do...I guess I'll just save up some more $ for a better set-up (B&G's)..

is the neuspeed drop of 1.75" f and 1.5" rear a maximum drop after installing adjustable coilovers or shocks or somethin?

if you install JUST the springs, is the drop the same 1.75"/1.5"

On the shocks/struts no. Preload and height are the only things you can set.
