Taking off sides after being 3M taped on...
Hi!
I would like some opinions or suggestions from whoever went through using 3M double sided tapes for their skirts (specifically sides).
I bought some used veloz sides and I sticked them on my sedan using 3M double sided tapes as many suggested, and it's working marvelous up till now. Won't budge a bit even after heavy rain/wind, highway, or countless car wash... which I start to worry about, is it too solid if I really need to take them off someday?
I have yet tried these tapes through winter, if anyone had their skirts taped during winter, any feedbacks are appreciated. But personally I doubt they are strong enough for winter, so I might want to take them off before winter starts. Anyone who succesfully and easily took their skirts off after being taped, and how? The sides look kinda fragile, the extreme cold weather will most likely crack them.
I didn't use attachment plates nor brackets, I just bolted on at the front (where front mudguards are), and taped all along the side, and more tape near the rear end.
Thanks in advance.

i've used dual side tape on WW sides and currently, oem sides
taking them off is a B I T C H. 3m tape is strong is heck, and it took me over 4 hours to rub off the remaining 3m tape stuck on the side of the car.. using paint thinner.
your arm will be dead tired.
i've had my ww sides through the winter and it seemed frine.
right now, in one section of my oem sides.. it's a lil' loose, b/c it's rubber a lil' against my door... very minor though
dont know if i want to go through the process of taking off the tape and them retaping it.
that section is loose b/c i remember not putting that section in properly... so that's my fault

there are easier methods of taking off the 3m tape.. but i don have the tools that a body shop would have... which i have used before... the first time i took it off....
i've taken it off for a total of two times now.. i think
